Australia’s Dumbest Millionaire Contestant Loses On The First Easiest Question

Imagine going to all the trouble to get on to Who Wants to Be A Millionare and then falling at the first hurdle? The first “easy-peasy” hurdle?

It is 100% true that, anxiety can do a lot of damage and this woman just learned it the hard way. Australia’s “Who Wants To Be A Millionaire” contestant Whitney Beseler, is gaining the social media flare after cocking up an incredibly EASY game show question and gave an hilariously nutty first answer.

It was just the beginning of her journey towards the great jackpot. Sadly, Whitney didn’t get to taste victory.

The first question is the most basic one on the half-hour show, if you get it correct, you take home a lousy $100. It is the minimal-thinking question to help you get relaxed in the seat. If you get this question wrong, you don’t deserve any money for free.

The question put to her was: “Which of these is not a piece of jewellery commonly worn to symbolise a relationship between two people?” There were four choices: anniversary ring, engagement ring, wedding ring and burger ring.

Show host Eddie McGuire struggled to hold in his laughter when the contestant confidently answered “anniversary ring”.

This is one EPIC example that most people’s embarrassing moments don’t happen on live television!

That’s the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to me. Can we just cut it and start again?”

Oh no sweetie  but you can have a consolation prize – a bag of Burger Rings!

Anyways, she had a good laugh afterwards and so do you!

Beseler must have skipped dinner. “OH MY GOD. BURGER RING. OH MY GOD”.

Because dude, they’re actually CRISPY! But at least she gave it a red hot GO!
