Talk about WEIRD traditions and culture, this is by far the weirdest wedding ceremony I’ve ever heard of – MARRYING A CROCODILE!

“It is my wish to marry the young princess,’ said Mayor  Rojas as the pair were married.

He then danced with his new wife in his arms before guests joined in.

Indigenous people have great faith and many beliefs, many myths, especially a lot of mysticism. To be part of that pact between animals, humans, the environment, represented today with the celebration of this marriage, is a privilege that not everyone can have. I feel very lucky,” he said.

Local council members funded the event, and to those who didn’t contribute were fined.
